Cheesy Potato Gratin

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz comte cheese
  • 2 oz Parmigiano-Reggiano
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 medium cloves of minced garlic 
  • 2 lbs Russet potatoes
  • sage leaves
  • butter
  • salt & pepper
Steps:
  1. Pre-heat over to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Grate cheeses
  3. Combine cheeses
  4. Put 1/3 of cheese aside 
  5. Add cream, garlic, sage, salt & pepper
  6. Peel and slice potatoes
  7. Coat potato slices with cream mixture
  8. Grease Le Creuset Round Dutch Oven with butter
  9. Place potatoes in dutch oven
  10. Pour excess cream mixture into dutch oven
  11. Cover dutch oven with aluminum foil
  12. Bake for 30 minutes
  13. Take dutch oven out and remove foil
  14. Bake for 30 more minutes
  15. Take dutch oven out and sprinkle remaining cheese on potato gratin
  16. Bake for 20 more minutes
